Mother of the twin Moliones Cteatus (`cteatus-epeian`) and Eurytus (`eurytus-epeian`) by Actor (`actor-epeian`) — the Epeian house whom Nestor almost slew before Poseidon shrouded them in mist, though Homer calls them only 'of the blood of Actor' in the Catalogue.1
Homer remembers the Moliones twice over: as striplings who donned battle-gear when the Epeians marched against sandy Pylos, and as the twin captains' sires' line whom Nestor almost cut down in the plain until the wide-ruling Shaker of Earth saved them in thick mist.2
Apollodorus makes Cteatus and Eurytus twin sons of Actor by Molione — two men joined in one, unmatched in strength — whom Augeas appointed generals when Heracles marched against Elis. In the same account their sire is sometimes named Poseidon rather than Actor.3
