Pausanias' Argive king-list makes Triopas begat Iasus and Agenor. After Iasus' reign, Crotopus son of Agenor came to the throne and begat Sthenelas; Danaus later sailed from Egypt against Gelanor son of Sthenelas and stayed the succession to the kingdom of Agenor's descendants.2
