Apollodorus names Tisiphone among the Furies who rose when the bloody drops of flowing blood from the castrated Uranus fell upon Gaia. Hyginus's preface lists the same three sisters — Alecto, Megaera and Tisiphone — as children of Aether and Terra, a rival genealogy kept on topic `erinyes-parentage`. The collective node `erinyes` holds their shared office; this node is the individual named in both rolls.2⚖
