An infant son of Thyestes named after his infamous great-grandfather. According to Hyginus, he was murdered and served to his father at the horrific banquet of Atreus.1

Atreus took vengeance on Thyestes by butchering his infant sons, Tantalus and Plisthenes. He roasted their flesh and fed it to Thyestes at a feast of supposed reconciliation.2
