In Greek mythology, Peisistratus (Ancient Greek: Πεισίστρατος) was a prince of Pylos in Messenia, the youngest son of King Nestor. In the Odyssey he becomes an intimate friend of Telemachus and travels with him on the unsuccessful search for Odysseus. Like Telemachus, he was only a small boy when his father and older brothers left for the Trojan War.

I.Family
Peisistratus was the youngest son of King Nestor either by Eurydice or Anaxibia. His siblings included Thrasymedes, Pisidice, Polycaste, Perseus, Stratichus, Aretus, Echephron, and Antilochus.
II.Mythology
In Homer's Odyssey, Peisistratus welcomes Telemachus at sandy Pylos, lodges him under the echoing portico, and drives with him onward to Menelaus at Sparta.
He became an intimate friend of Telemachus and travelled with him on his unsuccessful search for Odysseus. Like Telemachus, Peisistratus was only a small boy when his father and brothers Antilochus and Thrasymedes left to fight at Troy.
