Iphitos or Iphitus (Ancient Greek Ἴφιτος), son of Naubolus (or of Hippasus in some lists), was king of Phocis, an Argonaut, and father of Schedius and Epistrophus — the Phocian leaders in Homer's Catalogue of Ships. He entertained Jason at Delphi and later backed the Thebans in the war of the Seven.

I.Phocian king and Argonaut
Apollodorus and Hyginus place Iphitus son of Naubolus among the Argonauts. Homer makes his sons Schedius and Epistrophus captains of the Phocians from Panopeus, Daulis, Cyparissus and neighbouring towns at Troy.
Statius' Thebaid has him lead Phocian cities as a Theban ally in the Seven against Thebes. By Hippolyte or Thrasybule he fathers the Trojan-War generation of Phocian princes.
II.Homonym care
Distinct from Iphitus son of Eurytus of Oechalia (giver of Odysseus' bow — atlas iphitus-eurytus / iphitus-oechalia), from the Elean restorers of the Olympic Games, and from Trojan elders of the same name. The atlas id iphitus-phocis is Naubolus' Phocian son alone.
