Homer sets Schedius and Epistrophus, sons of Iphitus son of Naubolus, at the head of the forty Phocian ships from Cyparissus, rocky Pytho, and the towns along the Cephisus.2

Hyginus names an Iphitus son of Naubolus from Phocis among the Argonauts, warning that another Iphitus, son of Eurytus, sailed in the same company.3
