Daughter of Catreus, wife of Nauplius and mother of Palamedes and Oeax — not to be confused with the Oceanid Clymene or Clymene Minyas.1

Apollodorus names her among the daughters Catreus gave in marriage: Aerope to Plisthenes, Clymene to Nauplius — and by Nauplius she bore Oeax and Palamedes. When Palamedes was stoned at Troy through Odysseus' machinations, his father Nauplius would avenge him on the returning host.2
