Rhacius (Ancient Greek: Ῥάκιος) is a Cretan leader who led Greek settlers to Colophon in Asia Minor while the Carians still held the land. In Pausanias he marries Manto, daughter of the seer Tiresias, and becomes father of the renowned seer Mopsus — a parentage that rivals Apollodorus' version in which Apollo is Mopsus' father.

I.Cretan colonist at Colophon
Pausanias says that while the Carians still held the Ionian coast, the first Greeks to arrive were Cretans under Rhacius, followed by a great crowd. They occupied the shore and were strong in ships while the interior remained Carian.
Handbooks sometimes call him son of Lebes. His role is that of an early colonist-founder on the Colophonian shore rather than a Homeric warrior.
II.Husband of Manto, father of Mopsus
When Thebes fell, Manto daughter of Tiresias was dedicated to Apollo at Delphi and then crossed to Asia, where she married Rhacius the Cretan. Their son Mopsus drove the Carians from the land that later bore the seer's name.
Apollodorus gives a competing parentage: Mopsus as son of Apollo and Manto at Colophon, where the same seer outprophesied Calchas. The atlas records both forks — Rhacius as Pausanias' mortal father, Apollo as the rival divine sire — without collapsing them.
