Galaxy/The codex of Pisidice

Pisidice or Peisidice (Ancient Greek: Πεισιδίκη) is a Neleid princess of Pylos, daughter of King Nestor by Anaxibia or Eurydice. Apollodorus lists her among Nestor's children beside Perseus, Stratichus, Aretus, Echephron, Pisistratus, Antilochus, Thrasymedes, and Polycaste. She is distinct from Pisidice daughter of Pelias and from the Aeolid Pisidice.

I.Neleid daughter

In Apollodorus' stemma of Nestor's house she appears as a Pylian princess among the Neleid brood. Some later notices identify a Pisidice as mother of Borus by Periclymenus — a genealogical detail kept secondary to her place as Nestor's daughter.

II.Homonyms

This atlas entry (pisidice-nestor) is Nestor's daughter alone. Distinct from pisidice-pelias (the Peliad implicated in Medea's cauldron fraud) and from the Aeolid Pisidice, mother of Antiphus and Actor by Myrmidon.
