Apollodorus numbers Phylonoe among the daughters of Tyndareus and Leda, naming her beside Timandra, whom Echemus married, and Clytemnestra, whom Agamemnon married. Where her sisters pass into marriage, Phylonoe is set apart by a singular fate: Artemis made her immortal.2

Of Phylonoe nothing further is told. No marriage, no offspring, and no deed attach to her name; the lone clause that records her grants only the immortality bestowed by Artemis, leaving her the one daughter of the house lifted out of mortal life.3
