Second-generation Titan son of Crius and Eurybia, joined with Styx and father of Zelus, Nike, Cratus and Bia — Emulation, Victory, Strength and Force.1
I
Eurybia bore Pallas to the Titan Crius beside Astraeus and Perses. He belongs to the younger branch descending from Earth and Sky through their son Crius.2
II
Styx, daughter of Ocean, was joined to Pallas and bore Zelus and trim-ankled Nike, then Cratus and Bia. When Styx came first to Zeus at the beginning of the Titan war, her children received an everlasting place beside the new king: they have no house or path apart from Zeus but dwell with him always.3
