Naubolus (Ancient Greek: Ναύβολος) of Phocis is father of the Argonaut Iphitus and, through him, grandfather of the Phocian captains Schedius and Epistrophus in Homer's Catalogue of Ships. Apollodorus counts Iphitus son of Naubolus among the Argonaut company; he must be kept distinct from the Phaeacian Naubolus father of Euryalus and from other namesakes in Argive and Oechalian stemmata.

I.Phocian house
Homer's muster names Schedius and Epistrophus sons of great-souled Iphitus, son of Naubolus, at the head of the forty Phocian ships from Cyparissus, rocky Pytho, and the towns along the Cephisus.
Apollonius and Apollodorus place Iphitus son of Naubolus among Jason's comrades. Some notices make Naubolus himself a king of Phocis, son of Ornytus (or Hippasus), and father also of Antiphateia who married Crisus.

This atlas entry (naubolus-phocis) is the Phocian father of Iphitus. Wikipedia also records Naubolus father of Pylon of Oechalia; an Argive Naubolus in the Nauplius lineage; and a Phaeacian Naubolus father of Euryalus (Odyssey 8) — none of which collapses into this node. The spider genus Naubolus is unrelated.
