The Phrygian woman by whom Electryon of Mycenae begot Licymnius after his legitimate sons upon Anaxo — mother of the surviving bastard branch when the nine sons died fighting the Taphians.1
Apollodorus, cataloguing the Perseid house, records that Electryon got many legitimate sons upon Anaxo and "after these he had also a bastard son, Licymnius, by a Phrygian woman Midea." She is named only as Phrygian; no further genealogy attaches to her beyond that union and its single surviving son.2
When the sons of Pterelaus drove off Electryon's cattle and the king's legitimate sons met them in battle, the two broods challenged and slew one another. Of all Electryon's sons Apollodorus writes that there survived only Licymnius, who was still young — the bastard child of Midea, half-brother of Alcmena and uncle to Heracles.3
