In Greek mythology, Cylarabes (Ancient Greek Κυλαράβης; also Cylarabos) is son of Sthenelus son of Capaneus and the last sole king of reunited Argos before Orestes seized the vacant throne. Pausanias still knew his race-course (the Cylarabis) and gymnasium in the city.

I.Last sole king before Orestes
Pausanias (2.18.5) recounts that after Amphilochus migrated and Cyanippus died childless, Sthenelus had already regained Melampus' third; his son Cylarabes then held Bias' third as well, reuniting Argos. Dying without offspring, he left the throne for Orestes son of Agamemnon to seize.
Pausanias (2.22.8–9) still pointed to the Cylarabis, a gymnasium of Cylarabes with Athena Pania, and graves shown of Sthenelus and of Cylarabes himself.
II.Homonym care
Cylarabes is this Sthenelid Argive alone. Do not conflate him with Cyanippus (cyanippus-adrastid), whose childless death opened the reunited kingdom to him.
