In Greek mythology, Cleoboea (Ancient Greek Κλεόβοια) is the maiden who first brought the orgies of Demeter to Thasos from Paros. Pausanias saw her painted with Tellis (grandfather of Archilochus) as youths aboard a boat, Cleoboea holding a chest of Demeter's sacred objects.

I.Bringer of Demeter's rites
Pausanias (Description of Greece 10.28.3) describes a painting that shows Cleoboea bringing Demeter's orgies to Thasos from Paros: she and Tellis appear as young people on a boat, with a chest of sacred objects in her hands.
Wikipedia's Cleoboea page also lists an Argive daughter of Criasus, the mother of Eurythemis, a mother of Philonis by Eosphoros, and the Milesian wife of Phobius who killed Antheus — none of which is this Thasian cult-bearer.
