Atreus invited his brother Thyestes to Mycenae under the pretense of making peace. In secret, Atreus slaughtered Callileon and his brothers, Aglaus and Orchomenus. He chopped up their limbs, boiled the flesh, and presented the dish to Thyestes at the feast.2
