Later in the Theogony, Atropos becomes a daughter of Zeus and Themis, one of the three Fates honored within Zeus's divine order.3⚖
Apollodorus repeats the genealogy from Zeus and Themis, naming Atropos beside Clotho and Lachesis.4⚖
Hyginus gives the Parcae Night and Erebus as parents. At Meleager's birth, Atropos looked to a burning brand on the hearth and fixed the child's life to it: he would live only while the wood remained unconsumed.5⚖
