After Asteropaeus fell beneath Achilles' Pelian ash, the Paeonians broke along Scamander's banks; among them Aenius was slain with Thersilochus, Mydon, Astypylus, Mnesus, Thrasius, and Ophelestes before the River rose in wrath against the son of Peleus.2
