Thalpius (Ancient Greek Θάλπιος, "warmth, heat") was an Epeian leader in the Trojan War, son of the Molionid Eurytus and Theraephone daughter of Dexamenus. With his cousin Amphimachus he leads the Epeian ships from Elis in Homer's Catalogue; later tradition counts him among Helen's suitors and among those who hide in the Wooden Horse.

I.Family and the Catalogue
Homer (Iliad 2.615–624) pairs Thalpius son of Eurytus with Amphimachus as captains of the Epeians — of Actor's blood — sailing from Elis. Pausanias (5.3.3–4) places him among the heirs of Augeas' kingdom after Phyleus' house moves to Dulichium.
Apollodorus lists him among Helen's suitors; Quintus of Smyrna places him in the Wooden Horse.

The atlas id thalpius-epeian is this Epeian captain. He is not a Dulichian suitor or a later historical namesake.
