Roman floor mosaic from the ancient city of Zeugma on the Euphrates, now in the Zeugma Mosaic Museum in Gaziantep, Turkey. Tethys, the Titan goddess of the nourishing waters, appears beside her consort Oceanus amid fish and sea creatures of the world-encircling river.
