When Amphimachus fell, Stichius and goodly Menestheus, leaders of the Athenians, carried him to the host of the Achaeans. Later, when the battle raged at the ships, Menestheus led the picked Athenians and there followed Pheidas and Stichius and valiant Bias in the press of fighters.2
