Nomion (Ancient Greek: Νομίων) is the father of Amphimachus and Nastes, the twin captains of the Carian contingent that holds Miletus, Phthires, the Maeander, and Mycale for Troy. Homer names him only as patronym; he has no separate battlefield narrative. Wikipedia treats the house under Amphimachus of Caria.

I.Father of the Carian captains
Iliad 2.867–875 calls Amphimachus and Nastes "the glorious children of Nomion" and leaders of the Carians uncouth of speech. One brother comes decked in gold "like a girl"; Achilles slays that brother in the river and bears the gold away.
Nomion himself is the genealogical root of the Miletan command — not a named fighter in the poem. The atlas id nomion-carion is this Carian house-father alone.
II.Homonyms
His sons are amphimachus-nomionid and nastes-nomionid. Keep Nomion distinct from any later historical or zoological Nomion namesakes; Wikipedia's article centres on Amphimachus rather than on a dedicated Nomion page.
