Eurynome is an Oceanid nymph, daughter of Oceanus and Tethys. By Zeus she bore the three Charites (Graces). In Homer she and Thetis sheltered the cast-out Hephaestus in a cave beneath the sea for nine years.

Hesiod makes Eurynome the mother of Aglaea, Euphrosyne, and Thalia by Zeus. Apollodorus repeats the parentage.
Homer tells how Thetis and Eurynome received Hephaestus after Hera cast him from Olympus, and kept him hidden while he learned the smith's craft.
