In Greek mythology, Enarete (Ancient Greek: Ἐναρέτη, romanized: Enaretē, lit. 'virtuous'), or Aenarete, was queen of Thessaly as wife of Aeolus son of Hellen. By him she became mother of the Aeolid sons and daughters who founded houses across Greece.

I.Overview
In Greek mythology, Enarete (Ancient Greek: Ἐναρέτη, romanized: Enaretē, lit. 'virtuous' or 'in virtue'), or Aenarete (Αἰναρέτη), was a queen of Aeolia (Thessaly) and ancestor of the Aeolians.
II.Biography
Enarete was the daughter of Deimachus and wife of King Aeolus of Thessaly, son of the Greek progenitor Hellen. By the latter, she became the mother of his children including Cretheus, Sisyphus, Athamas, Salmoneus, Deion, Magnes, Perieres, Canace, Alcyone, Peisidice, Calyce and Perimede.
Enarete may be similar to Eurydice who bore Salmoneus, Sisyphus and Cretheus to Aeolus.

This atlas entry (enarete) is the wife of Aeolus son of Hellen and mother of the Aeolid house. She is not to be confused with later or local figures sharing similar virtue-names.
