Electra is an Oceanid nymph in Greek mythology, a daughter of Oceanus and Tethys. By the sea-god Thaumas she bore Iris, the rainbow messenger, and the Harpies. She is distinct from Electra the Pleiad and from Electra, daughter of Agamemnon.

Hesiod and Apollodorus agree that Thaumas married Electra, daughter of Ocean, and that she bore Iris and the Harpies Aello and Ocypete.
Apollodorus lists her among the principal Oceanids named as daughters of Ocean and Tethys.
