Galaxy/The codex of Dracius

In Greek mythology, Dracius (Ancient Greek: Δράκιος) was a commander among the Epeians in the battle at the ships, fighting with Meges son of Phyleus and Amphion when the Achaean wall was breached — a brief Homeric notice later recalled in the naming of asteroid 4489 Dracius.

I.Epeian captain at the ships

When the wall was breached and the fight raged where the ships of Ajax and Protesilaus lay, Homer sets the Epeians under Meges son of Phyleus, with Amphion and Dracius following in the press among the stout-hearted warriors. The Catalogue had already tied Meges' ships to Dulichium and the Echinades; Dracius appears only in this battle muster.
