Chariclo was the nymph wife of the centaur Chiron on Mount Pelion. She appears beside Chiron when the Argonauts depart and, in Ovid, is the mother of the prophetess Ocyrhoe. She is distinct from the Theban Chariclo, mother of Tiresias.
