In Greek mythology, Chalcodon (Ancient Greek Χαλκοδών) is king of the Abantes of Euboea, son of Abas, and father of Elephenor who leads the long-haired Abantes to Troy. He aids Heracles against Elis and is later killed by Amphitryon while leading an attack on Thebes.

I.Lord of the Abantes
Homer's Catalogue makes Elephenor son of Chalcodon captain of the Abantes from Chalcis, Carystus, and Styra with forty ships. Apollodorus counts Elephenor among Argonauts and Helen's suitors and names his mother Alcyone (or Imenarete / Melanippe in variants).
Handbook tradition has Chalcodon and Telamon help Heracles against Elis; leading Abantes against Thebes he falls to Amphitryon. A daughter Chalciope is sometimes said to marry Aegeus.
II.Homonyms
Wikipedia's Chalcodon page also lists an Aegyptid bridegroom, a suitor of Hippodamia, an arms-bearer from Cyparissus, and a king of Cos who wounds Heracles. The atlas id chalcodon-abantes is the Euboean father of Elephenor alone.
