In Greek mythology, Arsinoe (Ancient Greek Ἀρσινόη) is a name borne by several women. The atlas node arsinoe-psophis is the daughter of Phegeus of Psophis — also called Alphesiboea — first wife of Alcmaeon, who receives Harmonia's necklace and robe and is later enslaved at Tegea after condemning her brothers for her husband's murder.

I.Wife of Alcmaeon
After Alcmaeon is purified by Phegeus for killing Eriphyle, he marries Arsinoe and deposits with her the cursed necklace and robe of Harmonia. When he later seeks a second purification and a new wife, Phegeus' sons Pronous and Agenor kill him; Arsinoe condemns the murder and is shut in a chest, carried to Tegea, and given as a slave to Agapenor under a false charge.
Homonym guard: not Arsinoe daughter of Leucippus (Messenian mother of Asclepius in the rival tradition); not the Nysiad nurse of Dionysus; not Orestes' nurse. The atlas id is Phegeus' daughter of Psophis alone.
