Apollodorus names Aristomachus among the sons of Talaus and Lysimache, in the same Biantid catalogue that lists Adrastus, Pronax, Mecisteus, and Eriphyle. In the usual reckoning he is the father of Hippomedon, one of the Seven against Thebes.2
